On October 12, 2002 the Fire Department of the City of New York held a memorial parade and service to honour their fellow comrades lost in the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center Towers on September 11, 2001. I had the privilege to travel with some Firefighters from Fredericton and Oromocto to NYC to record their participation in the memorial. Here are three of the many photos I took that were published from the trip.

Subway ride to the memorial

During the parade on 8th Avenue

Our Firefighters join the other firefighters who traveled from all over the world as they parade down 8th Avenue on the way to the memorial at Madison Square Garden.
