This was one of my coolest assignments. I had to go 1900 feet below the surface of the earth in a Potash mine to photograph a simulation with the Mine Rescue Team for the company's annual report. I rarely shave off my beard, but when I arrived at the front gate that day I was told I had to shave most of it off as a safety precaution in case I had to wear an oxygen mask in a emergency. It was worth it!
